William R. Perkins of the 354th FG/356FS was KIA (Killed in Action) on June 13, 1944, over
Notre Dame de Cenilly, France. In 2009 I traveled to France to fly the final flight path that Perkins flew. Interviews with Charles Simonson
(his squadronmate), Emile Lebehot (witness to the crash) and Jean
Torchio (WWII Historian) bring this story to life.
