Flowers placed on 1st Lt. William R. Perkins' grave in France

This morning I received these photos from John Torchio. Torchio lives in France and made a trip to place flowers on the grave of 1st Lt. William R. Perkins on the 67th anniversary of his death.

Perkins was shot down on the morning of June 13, 1944.

Perkins is buried in the the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial (located near the northeastern edge of Brittany in Saint-James (Manche), France).

Thanks John for all you have done for me and keeping the memory of Bill Perkins alive!
